Innovative Valve Signalling

Previous actuator position indication equipment used various electro-mechanical devices housed in a standard switchbox. Frequently they have been difficult to seal against elements and often they proved expensive to maintain.

When required to provide signalling on 1/4 turn actuators, IPS now fits the innovative M-VIP signalling device.

The M-VIP includes hermetically sealed reed switches and is rated to IP67. The parts are manufactured from PBT - a thermoplastic with excellent chemical resistance, good mechanical strength and a working temperature range of -20ºC to 80ºC. It will comfortably withstand the rigours of outdoor use or wash-down.

Installed in around 5 minutes, there are no cams or levers to adjust, and once fitted the M-VIP will continue to operate for many millions of cycles without the need for adjustment or maintenance. A plug and socket version is also available.
